CHICATA News—Guidelines for ArticlesPrepared by , editor Articles of interest in the field of translation and interpretation may be submitted. Book reviews, comments on issues, letters to the editor, questions and answers, biographies, summaries of monthly meetings are welcomed. Short notices about members (weddings, awards, change of address, etc.) may be listed under Member News. Events that occur in the Chicago area that are related to this field may be announced. Maximum length for features is 2 pages or about 2000 words. Photographs and graphics are accepted. Deadlines:
Microsoft Word files may be sent as e-mail attachments, on CD or floppy media. File extensions (*.rtf or *.doc) should be added to short file names. Do not send files with *.exe extensions. Keep paragraph formatting as simple as possible (no bold, italics, underlines, bulleted lists, etc.). Use Times Roman, 10 point font. Remember to add a title and author's name inside the word file, not just in the e-mail! Add 3-4 lines of biographical information at the end of the article. Submit articles to the . The editor reserves the right to edit the article.
